Hello,

My father-in-law owned his own logistics company and was found dead in the back of his cab in another state. Can you provide guidance on how to handle this situation? Ie Body arrangements? Truck recovery? Etc?

Response from Vicki:

Hello, Mike. Please accept our deepest sympathy regarding the death of your father-in-law.

I have asked someone who has many more contacts within the trucking industry for any other resources besides this one that I found online:

Trucker Charity.

If our contact provides any others, I will edit this page.

We hope that you and your family will be able to successfully resolve the transportation of your father-in-law's body, his personal effects, and his truck.

I'm praying for you.

Best regards,
Vicki Simons

Update:

The organization that I couldn't find at first is called Truckers Final Mile, at
TruckersFinalMile.org.
