Earn More, Save More

Our hearts were saddened when we learned about the accident that occurred on I-75 in Cobb County, Georgia, on February 11, 2021, specifically:

  • one person being killed,

  • another person being injured such that he/she was taken to the hospital, and

  • much damage having been done to property.

We also read in the article:

"The heavily traveled thoroughfare, which was left charred by the flames, was closed for more than seven hours for cleanup and the investigation."

In many of her weekly trucking commentaries, Vicki has written about truck accidents that have happened during the week.

None of us wants to think that "the next time, it could be me," but it is wise to prepare financially.

What plans do you have in place to protect your source of income, should you:

  • either be stuck in traffic for many hours;

  • or face an uncertain period when you need to physically heal?

Have you ever thought about adding a second income to your primary trucker income?

Happy Valentine's Day (just a little early)!

If you're a trucker with a home support team, please reach out to them on the 14th (preferably every day).

Just so that you know, truckers' wives need positive encouragement all year long -- but love it when their truckers make a special point to do special things for them.

To all of our readers who are professional truck drivers, we wish you safe travels and lots of money saving opportunities on the road!

Best regards,

Mike and Vicki Simons, Owners
