November 06, 2009

Thank you for subscribing to the Truck Drivers Money Saving Tips Email Newsletter.

In today's economy, professional truck drivers need money saving tips more than ever!

We (Mike and Vicki Simons) started and utilize a number of communications efforts to share those tips because we know that "It's not just how much you earn that counts; it's also how much you keep!"

We provide real world tips that help professional truck drivers save hard-earned money and personal reporting about products and services for use on the road. Since it has been reported that there are "over 3.5 million professional truck drivers nationwide, who log more than 432 billion miles per year," the opportunities for saving money on the road abound.

Throughout our site, you'll learn more about us, including both our successes and mistakes. On every page of our website, you will see a section with this logo and wording:

New Money Saving Resources on our Website

We have been busy testing and reporting on products to help you save money on the road. We have also been researching and writing about other matters of interest to truckers. Here is a recap of the articles we have published on our website since our last email newsletter:

Twitter presence

To better serve you, we now have a presence on Twitter, under the name TruckersSavings.

Question of the Month

During the month of October, we were looking for feedback from professional drivers who have APUs (auxiliary power units) on their trucks. While you are free to comment on that topic, we have a new question of the month for you:

How do you save money on fuel in your commercial motor vehicle?

Please contact us to comment.

In the meantime, if you believe that this email newsletter is valuable -- or at least points you to valuable information on our site -- would you please share it with a fellow truck driver?

We wish you safe travels and lots of money saving opportunities on the road!

Best regards,

Mike and Vicki Simons
