This "Shower Review Pilot Georgia Cartersville" is a
review
of the shower facility at the Pilot
Travel Center in Cartersville, GA, USA, based upon our
own expectations of what a shower facility that caters to
professional truck drivers of commercial motor vehicles should be like,
our own preferences (especially in comparison to a home bathroom), and
our observations.

Shower #3
Pros:
- Shower was clean upon arrival
- Counter space at sink was
adequate to meet our needs
- Fan worked well; was able to be
positioned
- Mirror was well positioned on
wall behind sink for
both short and tall drivers
- Water pressure from sink was
good
- Electrical outlets worked well
- Water pressure in shower was
good
- Showerhead delivered water in a
good spray (like a
home showerhead)
- Showerhead could be positioned
where needed
- Shower curtain prevented shower
spray from splattering on floor outside stall
- Door restrictor was in
working order (although broken)
- Towels were thick and thirsty
- Washcloths were sufficiently
thick
- Toilet flushed well
- Hooks were directly outside of
shower stall; was easy to reach for towel from inside the stall upon
completion of shower
- Paper bathmat and soap were
provided
- Individually wrapped and
fast-food restaurant-branded after dinner mints were provided (a nice
touch!)
- Built-in seat was wide enough
for our oversized shower bag to rest on
- At about 6 p.m., there was wait
time of only about 5 minutes
- One of the extra towels we
requested was fresh from the dryer and nice and warm
Cons:
- Showerhead was positioned such
that water temperature could not be adjusted without getting wet
- Shower water temperature was
not consistent; got
slightly warmer whenever someone flushed a toilet
- Door restrictor was broken and
needed to be either tightened or replaced
Overall grade for this shower at this
facility on a scale of A+ to F- (with A+ being the best, F- being the
worst): A-
