Pros: Shower Review Loves South Carolina Dillon

  • One towel was waiting for us in the shower; we requested and received two more for the two of us
  • Shower was clean upon arrival
  • Counter space at sink was adequate to meet our needs
  • Fan worked well
  • Mirror was well positioned on wall behind sink for both short and tall drivers
  • Light was directly above the mirror, so that male drivers could get a close shave without nicking
  • Water pressure from sink was good
  • Electrical outlets worked well
  • Water pressure in shower was good
  • There were two water delivery mechanisms in the shower, upper and lower showerheads
  • The top showerhead could be positioned as needed
  • Shower was designed as a large opening covered by a shower curtain
  • Shower “stall” had handrails for the handicapped
  • Shower curtain prevented shower spray from splattering on floor outside stall; also there were suction cup sections on the edges of the curtain to affix it to the stall walls to keep more water in the stall
  • Towels were sufficiently absorbent (but not like a beach towel)
  • Washcloths were sufficiently thick
  • Toilet flushed well
  • An air vent to pull moisture out of the room was near the shower stall.
  • This shower was large and well lit
  • Shower water pressure and temperature remained constant even when toilet was flushed
  • There were two name brand mints left on the sink for us, which was a nice touch.

Cons: Shower Review Loves South Carolina Dillon

  • The door had neither a deadbolt lock nor a door restrictor
  • Places for two towel hooks were on the wall behind the outside door, well away from the shower stall; one of the hooks was not on the holder, leaving only one hook in place.
  • Movable chair was not wide enough to handle an oversized shower bag
  • Movable chair was wobbly
  • Although the shower curtain had 12 holes for rings, there were only 11 rings holding it onto the rod
  • The mirror showed evidence of needing to be cleaned; it fogged easily from the steam from the shower water.
  • The showerhead delivered water almost like a sand blaster (not being like a home showerhead); attempts to back off the water pressure met with spurting water.

Note: The shower head assembly was placed on the opposite wall of the shower stall from other similar Love’s locations.
