Truck Drivers Money Saving Tips Email Newsletter, Issue #008, 2010-03-05
March 05, 2010
Hello,

Thank you for subscribing to the Truck Drivers Money Saving Tips Email Newsletter.

In today's economy, professional truck drivers need money saving tips more than ever!

We (Mike and Vicki Simons) started Truck-Drivers-Money-Saving-Tips.com and utilize a number of communications efforts to share those tips because we know that "It's not just how much you earn that counts; it's also how much you keep!"

We provide real world tips that help professional truck drivers save hard-earned money and personal reporting about products and services for use on the road. In the United States alone, there are over 3.5 million professional truck drivers. We're sure there are many more worldwide. So, the opportunities for saving money on the road abound.

Throughout our site, you'll learn more about us, including both our successes and mistakes. On every page of our website that we've written, you will see a section with this logo and wording:

Our passion to help truck drivers save money is the entire reason for our site. We're assuming that most of this email newsletter's readers are truckers themselves. Even if your goals are small to begin with, we'd like to show you how to multiply savings to keep more money in your pocket. We consider it an honor to serve you. We also include ideas on our site for those who serve as drivers' home support teams.

We realize that every professional driver's trucking experience is slightly different and that the needs of drivers across the industry vary greatly. So, we're expanding our website to provide information of help on lots of different topics, help that provides tangible value to you.

While we have written about us -- and what does and does not work for us in our truck -- you may have a different opinion. And that's ok! Please feel free to share with us whatever money saving tips have worked for you. We welcome your feedback.

Perhaps you'll be the next person to send us a testimonial about how one or more of our tips has saved you money.

New Money Saving Resources on our Website

We have been busy testing and reporting on products and services to help you save money on the road. We have also been researching and writing about other matters of interest to truckers. Here is a recap of the articles and other pages we have published on our website since our last email newsletter:

Coming Soon!

A reader of our site recently asked about "Driver Deductions" when filing taxes. We'll be finishing this article soon. Those who subscribe to our news feed will know when the page is updated. Visit our home page and subscribe to be alerted.

Vicki has also been writing to experts in related fields, asking for interviews so that she can provide more content-rich material on our website just for you.

We have quite a number of articles "in the works" and look forward to finishing them soon.

Question of the Month

We're phasing out this section of our email newsletter because we're asking a "Truck Drivers Money Saving Inquiry" on Tuesdays and Thursdays through our Twitter account. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, we're sending out a "Truck Drivers Money Saving Tip."

This is all part of our "A Tweet A Day" service.

Seeking your Contributions

On almost all pages linked from the navigation bar on the far left hand side of the pages on our site, we have added forms through which you may contribute tips, share ideas, give your opinion, submit reviews or ask questions. We look forward to having your input because our website is designed to help truck drivers save money.

Word of Mouth Testimonials Work!

If you believe that our website, our news feed or our email newsletter is valuable, would you please share it with a fellow truck driver or those related to truckers? We surely would appreciate it -- and we believe they will, too.

We wish you safe travels and lots of money saving opportunities on the road!

Best regards,

Mike and Vicki Simons
